Description

Jessica begins to suspect that she is not a mouse and goes on a tour of the farmyard to see if any of the other animals can help her out. Madame Butterfly thinks she must be a cow as she has four legs, but Mrs Cow thinks she is an ant as she is so small. Will she ever find out that she is a cat?

Author Biography

The Author: Malorie Blackman is an established, prize-winning author. She was shortlisted for the Carnegie medal in 1998 and has won the Young Telegraph Children's Book Award (1994) and the WHSmith Mind Boggling Books Award (1994). The illustrator: Alison studied illustration at Anglia College of Art in Cambridge and began an M.A. At Kingston University. In 1993 she was shortlisted for the Macmillan Prize for Oliver's Vegetables.
