Author Biography:

James Turner Johnson, Ph.D. (Princeton 1968), is Distinguished Professor emeritus of Religion and Associate of the Graduate Program in Political Science at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he has been on the faculty since 1969. Eric Patterson, Ph.D., is past Dean and tenured Professor at the Robertson School of Government at Regent University and a Research Fellow at Georgetown University's Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs. Gina G. Palmer, Ph.D., is faculty member at the U.S. Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island, and Fellow at the Institute for Biodefense Research. Her work focuses on leadership, ethics, technology, war, and the balance between diplomacy and defense. Timothy J. Demy, Th.D., Ph.D., is Professor of Military Ethics U.S. Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island and Honorary Fellow, Durham University (UK), Department of Theology and Religion.
