A very compelling book from the beginning, which only becomes more inspiring and empowering as Duff discusses the change and progress Jacinda has made for our country and for the world. I was especially touched by revisiting the strength, solidarity and compassion with which Jacinda acted after the Christchurch mosque terror attacks and the power she has given to women and mothers alike who may or may not choose to have children and work. What also stood out to me was that, even discussing topics such as rape & sexual abuse, it ends on an optimistic note full of hope that victims will always have care and support. Overall, a well written and highly recommended read!

I first became aware of this book when I noticed old men trying to hide in bookstores across the country. I bought a copy for myself and then ended up buying one for my parents. Great insights, objective viewpoints and some powerful points about the influence gender bias and hostility has on the politics of an entire nation. Great read, would recommend.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. I learnt a lot about Jacinda Ardern that I didn't know (I haven't followed her career closely, I have to admit). It is a really well-written book by an experienced journalist. I'm giving it to a couple of family members as Christmas gifts and I think they'll enjoy it too.
Insightful – all New Zealanders should read this book
Although this book is well written and interesting, it is not a biography about Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
This book is more about the authors thoughts and reflections about Jacinda Ardern, and covers a wide selection of subject matter, which has nothing to do with her. I presume a lot of the themes and rhetoric may be more interesting to the author than the readers of this book.
Save this for holiday reading and you won’t be disappointed. Read it hoping to find in depth information about Jacinda Ardern and you’ll be left wanting more. There’s little written here that you wouldn’t already know and that hasn’t already been in the New Zealand media.
Doesn’t have a bibliography or reference section at the back, which perhaps shows how much of this book is based on the opinions, thoughts and reflections of the author, rather than any robust interviews or new sources of information.
A great insight into our Prime Minister. Don’t let the haters sway your decision to read this – they haven’t even read it!
Have read articles from this author before. A fantastic author and I cant wait to get my hands on a copy
Some factual information written in this book has complete contradictory ramifications as to her actions, or leadership ability. Look further and question this book harder and then realise it is no more than golden fleece publicity building for support.
Poorly written book that bores you intensely at times with pages and pages of the authors off track rantings and social agenda. When I read a book about Jacinda I expect it to be about her not the Author's out of touch rantings
A great introduction to an influential person in New Zealand's history and culture.
