J Herbin: 1670 Ink – Stormy Grey (50ml)
Stormy seas are the inspiration for J. Herbin's newest 1670 ink, ‘Stormy Grey.’ Its color is a deep coal grey (anthracite) with flecks of gold. On his many voyages, J. Herbin encountered dark and wild oceans. The fine golden flecks in the ink are meant to invoke both strikes of lightning across the water, and also its dark and mysterious depths.
The 1670 line was originally launched to celebrate J Herbin's 340th anniversary.
It is a highly saturated ink with a gold sheen achieved by a fine pigment that is quite visible in the bottle and requires the bottle to be shaken well before filling your pen. Best results are achieved on good quality ink-resistant papers if you want to see the gold sparkle!
It comes as a 50ml bottle with a wax sealed top.
Made in France by J Herbin.
