Description

Children have big feelings. "It's OK to Cry" follows a young girl through a typical day, where she encounters many feelings and, with the help of encouraging people around her, she learns to accept her feelings and move through them to discover what's on the other side. Children and parents alike will smile as they discover that it's really OK to feel everything...it's what we do with those feelings that makes the biggest difference.

Author Biography:

Mother and daughter team, Jennifer Fox and Sophie Turok (age 8), are proud to publish their first book in the "It's OK" series. While the idea was borne out of Jennifer's personal growth journey, Sophie came on board to fine tune the characters and make sure the situations in the book were relevant to a young child. Jennifer is a Senior Human Resources consultant whose mission is to empower people to discover blind spots and overcome obstacles in their lives. Whether she is on stage delivering a keynote, consulting at a Fortune 500 company, or providing 1:1 life and career coaching, her real-world approach not only resonates with her clients, it helps them produce results previously thought impossible. Her freelance career allows her to wear many hats as a wife, mother to Sophie, Carly and Drew, Girl Scout Troop Leader and spin-class lover. Sophie is a 3rd grade student who loves to learn, dance and create. She has already operated two businesses and is currently working on a third. An enterprising young girl, she thinks she wants to be an inventor when she grows up.
