Author Biography:

Larry A. DiMatteo is a professor at the Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida. He previously taught at the University of Miami Graduate School of Business. His primary teaching responsibilities have been teaching graduate courses in international business law, commercial law, and the legal environment of business. Professor DiMatteo graduated from with a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he was Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from The Cornell Law School and a LL.M. from the Harvard Law School. Professor DiMatteo is the author of 3 books and more than a dozen law review articles with a primary focus on contract and international business law. Professor DiMatteo is a past president of the International Law Section of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business. Lucien Dhooge is the Sue and John Staton Professor of Law at the College of Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he teaches international business law and ethics, and serves as director of the global executive M.B.A. program and area coordinator in law and ethics. Prior to his tenure with the Georgia Institute of Technology, Professor Dhooge practiced law for eleven years and served on the faculty of the University of the Pacific in California for twelve. He has authored more than fifty scholarly articles, co-authored five books, and is a past editor-in-chief of the American Business Law Journal and Journal of Legal Studies Education. Professor Dhooge has presented throughout the United States, as well as in Asia, Europe, and South America, and has received numerous research and teaching awards, including six Ralph C. Hoeber Awards for excellence in published research. After completing an undergraduate degree in history at the University of Colorado, Professor Dhooge earned his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law and his LL.M. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
