I recommend having 2 people to put this together. It's not impossible to do it alone, but having a second set of hands makes it a lot easier. Once it's set up it feels pretty sturdy. My pup is curious of it and has gone to it once or twice to lie down, though I'm sure he'll be using it a lot more once he realizes what it's for.
Seemed to be OK for the first month but soon buckled through the middle and then the legs collapsed. I would suggest getting one with the middle bar supports if you have an X-Large dog
