Description

Independent Catholicism is a denominational community of clergy and laity who classify themselves as Catholics. Determine the number of counties, societies, clergy, and representatives who make up Autonomous Catholicism. Any members prefer an alternate way to live and communicate their Catholic religion outside the Roman Catholic Church. The movement can be considered part of a wider Autonomous Sacramental Phenomenon in which clerics, the laity in diverse religious denominations, have removed themselves from the structures they historically associated. Any autonomous churches originated from the Eastern Orthodox Church, but these independent Orthodox communities more frequently classify themselves as independent or Autocephalous Orthodox.
