With more of a focus on percussion and melody, In The Garden is bright and catchy, and further builds on the foundation the band laid with their first album. Though successful touring musicians, their original releases never became commercially successful – eventually leading percussionists Joe Lala to play with musicians like Stephen Stills and Joe Walsh, while Bill Lordan later joined Robin Trower’s band.
