Description

From the moment Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden and hid themselves from the presence of God, there has been a longing in the heart of man to find a way to commune with God. In this work, an effort is made to help individuals charter a course to and then remain in God's presence by understanding how He abides with His people. To do so, we distinguish between His Omni-, Abiding, Indwelling, and Divine Presence (The Shekhinah). Along with that, we address how His presence is experienced through Spiritual Gifts and His Anointing. Each form of God's presence has its own distinct makeup with a parallel yet vast set of differences. An addendum to the aforementioned is my personal Pursuit of God's Presence. "Such a task, such an assignment," I thought I was well versed in this area, but then; God began to speak. Mary Simpson is an up and coming author who possesses much wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of God's word. One main artery of learning for her was the School of Ministry at Heritage Christian Center, Denver, Colorado. She also possesses years of devout study in numerous venues of biblical studies. Mary holds credentials as a licensed and ordained minister at Emmanuel Christian Center, Denver, Colorado. She has accepted her call to write and put into words the heart of God, as she understands it. Mary has written two other books: Pray There Before You Get There and a mini book entitled The Art of Compromise, written to assist her and her husband as they teach "Marriage Enhancement" classes together. Mary has been married to her husband, William, for over 32 years. They live in Denver, Colorado and are the proud parents of three adult children, and two grandbabies.
