Patricia Montemurri, who was taught by the IHMs at St. Thomas Aquinas School in Detroit, is an award-winning journalist. She covered the Catholic Church locally and internationally for the Detroit Free Press. She is the author of Blessed Solanus Casey and Detroit Gesu Catholic Church and School. The legacy of the influential IHMs emerges here through a treasure trove of historical photographs from the IHM Archives in Monroe, Michigan.
