The fact that this is based off a true story is enough to interest me in the first place, and it is far and above my favourite role from Jim Carrey. As narrator and protagonist of what is a star crossed love story if ever there was one he is brilliant. Worth watching the cast interviews at the end. I think the poor guy who is the subject of this film is still rotting away in jail, and yet if you are like me, by the end of the film you will be totally rooting for him!

The improbable but true story of a spectacularly charismatic conman's journey from small-town businessman to flamboyant white-collar criminal who repeatedly finds himself in trouble with the law and on the lam brilliantly escaping from the Texas prison system on four separate occasions all in the name of love.
