Author Biography:

Sonia Umair is an accomplished academician, researcher, and assistant professor with over a decade of experience in the field of management. She is currently working as an assistant professor at Al-Zahra College for Women, Muscat, Oman. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. Her academic and research interest lies in the fields of HRM, sustainability, business ethics, leadership, and organizational behavior. Sonia has worked as a research collaborator and research assistant at the Universiti Putra Malaysia. She has published extensively in reputable journals and conferences, contributing valuable insights to the field. She serves as a member of the editorial review board of the Journal of Family Business Management. Umair Waqas is Assistant Professor and Program Chair of Supply Chain Management and Logistics in the College of Business at the University of Buraimi, Oman. He is a member of several committees including, the member college of the business board, member college of business postgraduate committee, member teaching learning and curriculum committee, member moderation and examination committee. He is also responsible for curriculum revision and progression for my department. He received PhD in Management (specialization: Supply Chain Risk Management) in 2020 from the School of Business and Economics, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. He has experience of 10 years in the field of research and education. Beata Mrugalska is Associate Professor and Head of Division of Applied Ergonomics in the Institute of Safety and Quality Engineering at the Faculty of Management Engineering at the Poznan University of Technology, Poznan, Poland. She received a MSc. Eng. in Management and Marketing in 2001, a PhD. and DSc. (habilitation) degrees in Machines Building and Operations in 2008 and 2019 from Poznan University of Technology, Poland. In 2012 she completed postgraduate studies in Occupational Health and Safety at the Faculty of Management Engineering at the Poznan University of Technology. She is the author or co-author/editor or co-editor of 10 books and more than 100 journal articles, book chapters and conference papers. She serves as a member of journal editorial board of WORK: Journal of Prevention, Assessment & Rehabilitation, Human-Intelligent Systems Integration, International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Safety, International Journal of Ergonomics (IJEG) and member of advisory board of Journal of Turkish Operations Management. Ibrahim Rashid Al Shamsi is Associate Professor and Dean in College of Business, University of Buraimi, Oman. His areas of specialization include business, human resource management, and other management related subjects. He obtained his Master’s in business administration from the UK and PhD in Business Administration from Malaysia. He also serves indexed journals as a Reviewer and is involved in various academic and research tasks. Before joining academia, he worked for 20 years with Directorate General of Health Services, Al Buraimi Governorate, Ministry of Health where he held important positions as Head of Administration Department, Director of Administration and Finance & Director of Planning and Studies.
