Author Biography:

Evan Frendo is a freelance business English trainer and writer. He has worked in Berlin for 10 years, where he was a partner in a small language consultancy providing advice and trainers to companies all over Germany. Employed up to 30 trainers at any one time, mostly freelance. Co-authored various business English teaching materials, most recently English for Accounting (Cornelson) and Double Dealing Series (Summertown). Now based in Singapore, where he is working on an EdD focussing on small talk within the context of intercultural business communication. Currently IATEFL secretary and BESIG Coordinator. Author of How to Teach Business English, in press, due out August this year.
