Description

Many of us are living in societies which are getting more and more aware of the increasing and devastating impact mankind has on this planet. Unfortunately we are not only impacting the planet. We are impacting "us", our species and every other species on this planet. Earth is our home and it gives us everything we need and plenty of it. Some scientist and engineers are looking for ways to inhabit other planets, as a refuge for mankind. But, wouldn't it be easier (and cheaper) just to stay here and take care of what we have? Instead of dreaming of "new" blue planets, we might never reach and if so, who says we are going to succeed at this planets?Time is running. Maybe we are going to make the turn. Maybe we can prevent the devastation of this planet, maybe our own extinction. But we have to act, as sooner as better. Saving the world seems to be a task so big, seems too big for any of "us" to achieve. And it is. There won't be any Superman flying around the world to turn back time or something like that. There won't be the "one" who will save the world. But there can and should be the "us" that maybe still could achieve this ambitious goal. If every one of "us" does just a bit, the impact will be overwhelming. We just have to do the right things. This guide is not complete, it is not perfect. It only aims to get you to think and act by understanding how everything is connected. You are not isolated. Your actions have consequences. Consequences you might not feel right now. But one day you or your kids will feel them. Just think a bit about the consequences your actions have and try to minimize your impact on this planet. Or better: Impact this planet, please! But let it be a positive impact!Act before nature gets you on your balls and you need to act. It might be too late.
