Description

WHY THIS BOOK?There are seven good reasons why this book is in your hand.1.It is written to shine the light for others to see. Those who think outside the box know that though information is certainly not power, it surly enhances power! This is so because information on its own is not an end but a means to an end. We get information to do what we have to do better, faster and cheaper! But I digress. Grave yards are filled with men who had ideas to share and things to say to others but did not know how to go about it. This book hopefully will help decrease the number lamenting, so to speak, on the other side.2. Why make mistakes when you can avoid them? Most startups are often ambushed and derailed by mistakes. And as you know, mistakes can cost an arm or two! This book is written to share experience and save costs.3.This book particularly shares the African experience. You might as an American or European be interested in having a conference or seminar in Africa or any other Third World country: is there anything wrong in hearing from a man who has held or helped organize over a thousand seminars and conferences in the place you want to go?4.In addition to sharing my right-takes and mistakes, a side-kick is encouraging those who can to run with the vision of public speaking because it is capable of not just presenting the speaker before kings but does open the doors to bank vaults.5.This point ought to have been mentioned last but, in this case, I see no harm in putting the cart before the horse. It is the hope of this author that this book will spur you into more research. Every day, knowledge keeps unfolding and a scholar never stops learning!6.Another side-kick is to bring out the seminar organizer in you, even as an amateur. Just as our finger prints are unique to us, every man has an experience to share with others and a discovery to publish.7.This book also shares the ideas of other writers on the topic. I do not know about you but for me from the day I was born to this day, I have neither met a man who has monopoly of knowledge nor one whose name is University! No man is an island unto himself it appears. Can that not be the reason why the holy scripts encourages us to go to the ants and learn wisdom? In my renewable quest for knowledge, particularly on Seminars Creation and Management, I read several books and attended some online and offline short courses on the topic. Not satisfied, I visited the website of many professional bodies on the subject, some of w I which I quoted here. One particular book of note that struck me and continues to hold my attention is "Thinking Big" by Donald Trump. That book written by the current American President opened this author's eyes to many aspects of life, especially how to organize big seminar crowds, which indeed starts with your mindset! Unfortunately, many have not seen or opened this book!Have you?
