The soundtrack to the quirky romantic comedy based on Toby Young’s book of the same name. How To Lose Friends & Alienate People is the crazy story of Sidney Young, a foolhardy British 'celebrity' journalist, played by the Simon Pegg, who has, by some fluke of luck, been appointed at the esteemed ‘Sharps’ magazine in New York. The comedy revolves around Pegg’s customary side-splitting performance as a man severely out of his depth, his awkward tensions with hard-headed magazine Editor Jeff Bridges, and his eventual rise to temporary celebrity-status – brought about only by a total abandonment of personal integrity!
The soundtrack features an exclusive track from multi-million-selling soul songstress Duffy, with the enchanting "Enough Love" not available anywhere else! And there is also the legendary Dusty Springfield with her utterly cool classic "Spooky". And that’s only a taster of the surprisingly inspiring music that makes up the How To Lose Friends & Alienate People soundtrack! With added dialogue taken from the film, this soundtrack is not only a fantastic memento for those fans of the film, but stands alone as an album in its own rights.
