Affiliate Marketing is simply selling products that others have created. When you go shopping at any store (grocery store or retail store), you are participating in affiliate marketing. The person or company that created the product has hired the store to market that product to the store customers (i.e. YOU). When you purchase the product, the store makes a profit. In most cases, the store has agreed to purchase products in bulk at a discount and sell the products to you. They keep the difference as profit. In some cases, stores agree to sell the products and then pay the producer of the product a portion of the sale price once a sale is made. Either way, this is a form of affiliate marketing.
