The Hoping Foundation was set up to aid & support Palestinian children living in refugee camps across the Middle East, and all funds raised go towards their care, health and schooling.
In late October 2004, some of the biggest names in alternative music donated their time organising a special benefit concert at London’s Brixton Academy, to raise funds for the foundation and the children of Palestine.
Includes outstanding performances by Primal Scream and Jason Pierce’s group Spiritualized with special guests Nick Cave & Steve Mason (The Beta Band), in front of a sellout and appreciative crowd.
Includes a special introduction by Bella Freud (trustee of the Hoping Foundation), Nick Cave and Mani (bassist for Primal Scream).
