Description

This guide tells the story of Hope Lodge, built in the 1740s, which is today one of the finest surviving examples of Georgian architecture. The guide includes a tour of the interior and identifies the differences between the décors of the Colonial era and the Colonial Revival of the early twentieth century, as the house is furnished in both styles. It also explores nearby Mather Mill.
