Author Biography

Schmuel Ahitiv is Professor of Bible and Ancient Near Eastern Studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Be'er Sheva. He has written and edited several books. He was co-editor of the Hebrew Biblical Encyclopaedia and director for the Ben-Gurion University Press.
