Hide and Seek-Jazzy's Alphabet Adventure is a children's alphabet book. Jazzy is the star of many educational books. In this alphabet adventure, Jazzy hides her eyes, and the letters run away to hide. The text is short and simple making it easy for children to read or use context cues to figure out the words. Each letter of the alphabet is colorfully displayed in the text. The pages are illustrated with beautifully composed images from actual photographs taken by the author. The book format is a wonderful way for teachers to have their class create their own alphabet adventure. Perhaps renaming the book Hide and Seek, and using the child's name instead of Jazzy's.

Author Biography:

Sonja McGiboney obtained her Bachelors of Music degree from West Virginia University in 1987. When working on her master's degree she met and married Dale then followed him on his twenty-five-year Army Band career. She has self-published twenty books in the Jazzy's Books series. Each book combines beautiful photography with lyrical writing and rhyme to create engaging, concept books for young children. Her dog Jazzy is the star in all of them.In June, 2023, Sonja, Dale and Jazzy moved to Gadsden, AL to be closer to her family and continues to write from her new home in Gadsden. Another Jazzy book is in the works as well as several middle-grade novels.
