Historically, women have not been encouraged to proactively choose a companion, but rather only wait to be chosen; a behavior that continues to be passed down from one generation to the next, leaving some women with very limited choices and often having to choose between the lesser evils. This problem with our dating culture has carried on without question, scrutiny or solution- until now.
