Author Biography

Swedish photographer Edvard Koinberg, born 1964 in Stockholm, Sweden, portrays plants following the artistic tradition of the Swedish age of Enlightenment. Dutch painters from the 17th and 18th century have also been important inspirations. For the past ten years Koinberg has focused on personal projects, where plants and gardens are recurring themes, resulting in a number of exhibitions throughout Europe, and in the USA, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, China, Indonesia, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
