Author Biography:

G. W. F. Hegel (1770–1831) is one of the most significant thinkers in the history of philosophy. He is the author of several influential works, including The Science of Logic. Walter Kaufmann (1921–1980) was a German-American philosopher, translator, and poet. He served for over thirty years as a professor at Princeton University.
