Author Biography:

Author Sharon Smith holds a Master's degree in Social Science Education from Florida State University. She understands the importance of creating safe, nurturing environments for children. The Hannah and Nana stories are based upon the magical memories she has of spending summers with her own "Nana." Now retired, Sharon and her husband Michael live in the foothills of North Carolina, where they share their home with Panda Bear-a rescued Shih-Tzu. Soon, Panda Bear will make her debut in the "Nana's Drawer Full of Dreams" series of books. Tim Kirkby, Sharon's son, is an artist and licensed architect. He earned his Master's degree from Yale University School of Architecture. Tim and his wife Samantha celebrated the birth of their son, Kyle, in 2014. They share their Chicago home with Wrigley, a large and extremely lovable Golden Retriever. An upcoming book by Sharon Smith, illustrated by Tim, is titled, "Prince Kyle, Sir Wrigley, and the Dreaded Dragon
