Description

Trademarks is a fascinating and complicated field that is difficult to comprehend. Most books on the field are dense tomes that seem designed to frighten off someone who wants to obtain a basic working knowledge of the topic. One may assume that trademarks cannot be understood except by a person with deep knowledge in the field. However, someone working in business and industry, or a non-specialized legal professional can obtain a good overview of trademarks in a fairly rapid fashion. Also, people outside of the United States will need to better understand American trademarks in order to do business in this country. This book is aimed for these people. The basic aspects of trademarks are laid out in a simple and concise manner. Reading this book will take no more than a couple of hours and leave the reader with a basic introduction into the field. Also, this book can serve as a first go-to reference.
