This handbook seeks to provide students of quality-of-life (QOL) research with an understanding of how QOL research can be conducted from an ethical marketing perspective - a perspective based on positive social change. The handbook covers theoretical, philosophical, and measurement issues in QOL research. It also approaches selected QOL studies in relation to various populations in various life domains. Author Biography:

M. Joseph Sirgy is a personality/social/industrial psychologist who has written extensively on the subject of quality-of-life. He is the director of the Office of Quality-of-Life Measurement (OQOLM) and a professor at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the USA. He is also the executive director of the International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies (ISQOLS).
