Author Biography:

Kara's secret dream was to write children's books. Then one day sitting in her garden she decided it was time to try. So she did. When Kara is not writing down ideas for her next book adventure, she can be seen in her garden watching the critters that visit the plants. Kara lives in Northern California with her two favorite people, Emily and Erik, and her dog, Ginger. Brie has worked with children in a Montessori school for over 20 years. She loves animals, rocks, and reading, and it's a dream come true for her to be able to illustrate a book! She shares a home in Northern California with 2 humans, 3 cats, and a bird.
