I traveled across the globe from Vietnam to the United States and landed in Detroit, Michigan to reunite with my family. Coming from Saigon's tropical weather, one of my wishes was to get to experience for the first time the magical beauty of a snow day spent alongside my family. In the book, Goodbye Tropical Weather and Hello Winter, I share some of the great memories associated with the journey.

Author Biography:

Jade Nujen was born in Vietnam and moved to United States as a kid. At a young age, while still living in Vietnam, she was passionate about reading and writing. After relocating to Detroit, Michigan, she had to start her new life: from getting to know her dad and siblings to adapting to a new culture. The pursuit of her dream recently culminated with the publication of her first nonfiction children's book "Goodbye Tropical Weather and Hello Winter".
