Author Biography:

Lisa Soland comes to the literary world as a renowned playwright with over 50 publications by Samuel French, Inc., Smith & Kraus, Applause Books, and Dramatic Publishing. Her children's books include Thump, Somebunny to Love, The Truth About God's Rainbow, The Boy and The Bagel Necklace, and God's Hands & Feet. Her Christmas books, The Unmade Moose and The Christmas Tree Angel have become an annual reading tradition for many families. Ms. Soland teaches playwriting at Maryville College and enjoys traveling the United States leading various writing workshops. Gareth Brookshire lives in Northern Arkansas with his family. He is 12 years old and, like Fred, he is in the 7th grade. He enjoys building LEGOs, drawing and writing stories, playing golf, and exploring outside. This is his first illustrated book.
