Works okay. The blue things at the bottom slide off incredibly easily, so I recommend using a mousepad. The side buttons are flimsy and feel cheap. It has holes which makes it lighter, but dust builds up inside and is very hard to clean. I had to buy a different mouse because the scrollwheel broke on this one (I use the middle-mouse button for a lot of things.) Software is good. It's a decent mouse if you're okay with the problems I listed. I've switched to the MX Master 3S which I like a lot.
I'm coming from a D (regular) and the D- fits my hand much better (medium sized hands).
Great mouse. I love how light it is, took awhile to get used to as I've never had a mouse so light before.
If you download the software, you can modify the preset DPIs and add up to 6 presets or remove the rest of them so your DPI wont change if you accidentally pressed the DPI button. The DPI you can set range from 400–12000 and adjust in increments of 100. The RGB effects can be controlled with the software and even without it too with just the combination of buttons.
My only problem was that my mouse wheel was squeaking when I scrolled down real hard which I do when I browse but not when playing games, I used a silicone-based lube, which can be used on plastics, on the axles to get rid of the squeaking. The mouse is now perfect!
