I always thought Ringo's best albums were “Ringo”, “Goodnight Vienna”, and “Rotogravure”. All three dating back to his 70's solo heyday. I have since then listened to and purchased some of his albums over years and did not think they were very good. They just seemed lackluster to me and wasn't thrilled with the product. Now comes Ringo's 19th solo album Yep 19th Album “Give More Love” in 2017, making him a solo artist for an amazing 47 years. The 78 year old former Beatle drummer has released a fine album that is actually quite an enjoyable listen. With help from such friends as Peter Frampton and Joe Walsh and others, Ringo has a nice mix of rockers and country influenced tunes that have Ringo sounding better this time around than he has sounded in a very long time. Even his remakes of “Back Off Boogaloo” and “Photograph” two huge solo staples of his career, sound refreshing, crisp and are quite listenable. Don't know how many albums Ringo has left in him, but if this is the last one, than Ringo has a winner on his hands, and his fire is still burning brightly.
