Author Biography

Damien O'Dell has enjoyed a lifelong interest in the paranormal and is an Accredited Investigator with the Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena (ASSAP). He has been Team Leader of his own paranormal investigation group, APIS (Anglia Paranormal Investigation Society), on numerous highly successful vigils, including one which was conducted live 'on air', at night in BBC Radio Three Counties' haunted radio station at Luton! On Halloween of 2002 he founded APIS with just four original members. Damien has trained every member of APIS in the science of paranormal investigation and is also involved, with Keith Paull, a fourth generation dowser, in training APIS investigators in the art of dowsing. Born and brought up in West London, 55 year-old Damien resides in Baldock, Hertfordshire, where he has lived since 1986, with his wife Vicki, daughter Sarah and their cat, Kym. He divides his time between writing, running APIS, giving talks and teaching people about the paranormal. He says that his 'scariest moment', so far, was while witnessing poltergeist activity in Wilden, Bedfordshire, but something much more scary could be just around the corner and that is what makes ghost hunting exciting!
