I picked up this tablet primarily because of the price – I wasn't expecting it to be absolutely amazing given Wacom and other known brand tablets are usually several hundred dollars and are, from all accounts, of the highest quality. However, this Genius tablet has been working very well. The sensitivity levels are great, and the ability to bind hotkeys to the “buttons” around the edge of the tablet workspace has made doodling in photoshop far, far easier than it would otherwise be. The pen also has two buttons on the grip that are just as easily bound to keys or mouse clicks via the setup program.
There's a handy flap of clear plastic over the drawing space, which lets you put tracing paper and such underneath it – when doing this, the sensitivity of the pen is completely retained, so I've found it be another neat feature.
It also comes with two replacement pen tips, which I can't imagine going through with any speed.
There are only two downsides I found in this product. The first is that the pen requires an AA battery, the mouse two of them. This isn't a big issue for me as it comes with three batteries and I don't use the mouse at all, giving me two replacements for the pen before buying more.
The only other issue was that the drives were a pain to set up in regards to dual monitors – I had issues getting the tablet restricted to my primary monitor, but eventually worked it out. If this would affect you and you wanted it to work across two monitors, then this wouldn't be an issue.
Overall, I'd say this is a solid tablet for the inexpensive price, though at this point I can't speak for the longevity of it; I've only had it a month or so and it's still working fine. I am happy with this purchase as someone who doodles often but can't justify the cost of a more expensive tablet.
