Bob works for CoreCentral, and will end his career with the high-level experimental testing of this plasma-based bio-circuitry on an unknown drifter- called, 'G, ' from outside the perimeter of the population's MegaPlex. But what should have been a win-win-win situation now has questions attached. What are CC's motives, here? Is this new technology what it promises to be? If so, then why is Bob finding that G wants no part of it? As both Bob and G try to focus through the haze of all that is Gel, they find some suprising answers.
