Alison Maitland is a writer, speaker and conference facilitator specialising in leadership, diversity and work. A former long-serving Financial Times journalist, she is co-author of the prize-winning book Why Women Mean Business. She is a Senior Fellow in Human Capital at The Conference Board, the international business membership and research organization, and directs the Board's Europe-based Council for Diversity in Business.
