Margaret Beal is the forerunner of the technique and for the first time brings her expertise into book form. Fully illustrated with photographs of finished pieces, diagrams, drawings and instructive text, the book covers everything you need to know, from choosing and cutting fabrics through mark marking and using three-dimensional material. All techniques are covered, included applique, reverse applique, shadow work, piecing, weaving and bead making.
