Junior Asparagus goes on an amazing journey to help a friend and learns a lesson in perseverance--ages 4-8 Junior wants to play the tuba-and learn how in one day's time. His mom explains that it takes perseverance, but Junior doesn't like the sound of that. So it's off to Mr. O'Malley's bookstore and another adventure. Junior winds up trying to help God's people escape the clutches of Dark Visor and cross the Big Frog Pond with Cuke Sandwalker and his friends, Sweet-Pea-3-O and Achoo-Bless-U. It's all up to Junior to decide whether or not to persevere and keep trying or give up hope!

Cindy Kenney has worked as senior managing editor for Big Idea Inc. (Veggie Tales) for more than five years. She has published more than twenty-five children's books, five curriculum programs, multiple stories and articles, and served as a creative consultant to many. She currently lives in Illinois with her husband, Jim, and two sons, Andy and Jimmy. Doug Peterson is a writer with the University of Illinois. He co-wrote the story for Larryboy and the Rumor Weed and is the author of over twenty books. He's written more than 300 published articles and a short story, which became the basis of a music video featuring Grammy-winner Jennifer Warnes. He lives in Champaign, IL.
