They have deliberately used a specialized small hose/tube diameter which is much smaller than the standardised hose diameter we use in NZ. Their fittings are specialized to this thin hose diameter. Nothing lasts forever, and fittings/spray guns are always the first thing to go, but it's impossible to replace the fittings or hose if they do break as nothing you can buy at bunnings will fit. Great if you're a “use till one small thing breaks” kind of person, but if you want to get full life out of something you buy by replacing a fitting here and there, this is not the hose for you.
Bought a few of these as wife sick of hoses on the ground. Worked a treat, pretty good pressure & nozzle works great.
