A beautiful coed, who has cried "wolf" one too many times, learns that the loveable and adoring elderly couple next door are killers, who can only afford to eat what they kill; dogs, cats....nosy neighbors. Angelique is a beautiful coed, who flees San Diego in hopes of beginning a fresh start in a quiet, unassuming small town, where no one knows her unstoppable delusions of horrific murders. Angelique is welcomed to the quiet neighborhood by Harry and Beatrice, an elderly couple living next door. Just when Angelique believes that everything is going to be okay and her delusions have finally been laid to rest, she sees Beatrice killing a young girl on the lawn between their houses. Angelique hesitates, but then, believing that the murder is real, she calls the police. The arriving detective, Brad, reassures her that what Angelique witnesses was just a nightmare, nothing more, as Harry and Beatrice are the nicest people in the world. Angelique realizes that Brad is right and also recognizes that Brad is attractive, as romance begins to develop. Everything begins to change, with Angelique beginning to put away her nightmares, until her friend, Fran, another beautiful coed, arrives with other friends. Angelique and Fran begin to have fun, with Fran then disappearing. Angelique fights it, but can't overcome the feeling that Harry and Beatrice have killed Fran. Angelique investigates Harry and Beatrice's house, discovering that Harry, a surgeon, who has fallen on hard economical times, has been kidnapping people, cutting them open, and then selling their body parts on the internet, while Beatrice has been serving up the leftover meat, in casseroles. Angelique calls Brad, who responds, but finds nothing and is forced to arrest Angelique, as she is a prime suspect in the disappearance of Fran. As Angelique is being driven away in a police car.....
