CONTRERAS is Assistant Professor of Psychology at Kent State University. She is the co-editor of Family and Peers and Latino Children and Families in the United States. KATHRYN A. KERNS is Associate Professor of Psychology at Kent State University. She is the co-editor of Family and Peers and Latino Children and Families in the United States.
