Mike says, "God is more concerned with your attitude than with your bank account!" Mike Richardson is the founder and pastor of La Iglesia de Baratillo, evangelist, conference speaker, and author. He is also the founder and president of El Hogar Educador and Vida Nueva Ministries. He and his wife, Pam, have ten children.
Author Biography:
Fifteen days after making a decision to move to Mexico, Mike and Pam Richardson left corporate life as an accountant and CFO and moved to Mexico. They have been serving the Lord there, as missionaries, since 1993 and continue living and working in Mexico until this day. Mike founded Vida Nueva Ministries to advance the Kingdom of God in Mexico and Latin America. Mike began, and Mike still pastors, a rural church located in the mountains of northern Mexico. While Mike and Pam, along with several of their ten children, live in a remote village that does not keep them from being active throughout the country. Mike founded and published the international home school magazine, El Hogar Educador. He also promotes homeschooling throughout Latin America. When the violence began increasing in Mexico, God placed the soldiers and residence in the "war-torn" areas on the Mike's heart. He began making regular trips into these areas to reach, encourage, and teach the people about Jesus. Since all of their outreach efforts have one thing in common, families, a natural outgrowth of their church, homeschool, and evangelism work was to build a "family camp"-a place where fathers could bring their families to get away from the cramped, violent city life and spend time together as a family. The land is purchased and under development. The family camp, like the conferences and magazine, are available to Mexican families free of charge. The family camp gives families a peaceful environment to bring their families, relax, and learn more about the Lord. Mike is a well know speaker throughout Mexico-literally speaking coast to coast and border to border. He speaks about missions, evangelism, financial freedom, developing a deeper walk with Christ, as well as, a variety of topics related to the family. God has given Mike the life-long vision of bringing peace-true peace to the lives and hearts of men, women, and children in Mexico through the changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
