Follow the Words will help make it easy and fun for pre-school children to learn one of the most important skills in early reading: how word families work. Word families also teach rhyme, giving them a head start with word structures seen in everyday print. Follow the Time will help teach children to tell the time by relating familiar activities to particular times of the day. Putting hands on a clock face, writing the time and creative drawing relative to everyday life will make this skill easier and more fun to learn.

Dr Roberta Butler has written over 60 books for children, teachers and parents. She has a wealth of experience in communicating educational information, including creating reading schemes for children of all ages.
