Description

There is only one thing on his mind ... to get home to his loving humans. Floyd is a five-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, living an idyllic life with his three humans, Sam, Abi, and their daughter Emily. One day he is snatched from the fields surrounding their farmhouse by a peregrine falcon, and following a mid-air battle, is dropped into dense forests many miles away. Floyd finds himself lost and alone. Fearful of his surroundings, he begins his long journey home. After being attacked by Phineas the fox, he is befriended by three stray dogs, Brother, Chip, and Belle, who live in a deserted cabin in the woods. On hearing his story, and how much he misses his family, they reluctantly agree to help him get home. Along the way, the four dogs must overcome many dangers. A vengeful Phineas. An overprotective stag. A trigger-happy farmer with a shotgun. A raging river, and most terrifyingly, devil dog twins Ronnie and Reggie. Floyd must also overcome Belle's prejudice against 'privileged' dogs, and Chip's hatred of humans. As the journey to reunite Floyd with his family unfolds, the dog's friendship and bond grows. But doubt is cast as to whether all of them will survive to tell the tale ... Prepare yourself for unlikely heroes, sky battles, a secret revealed, nail-biting chases, and ferocious dogs lying in wait, in this exciting adventure of survival and friendship.
