This game can seem simple at the start, but once you start to cause collapses, your planning and logic really comes into play. The tiles are well made and pretty designs but nice and simple. To start the game is quick, although there is a bit of a learning curve when Mayhem happens. We like this best with 2/3 people as you can plan your moves through more. Great family fun.
A quick and light tile-laying game where players build a pyramid together but win by getting rid of their own materials first.
Flaming Pyramids sounds deceptively simple. Each turn all you must do is select one tile from your hand of five and place it in a legal spot according to the Building Regulations. However, overweight tiles, flammable materials, and unavoidable mismatches can cause mayhem, crumbling bits of the pyramid away and adding those tiles to your supply.
The bigger the pyramid gets, the more extensive the damage can be, so sometimes it is best to cause a small bit of mayhem early to get rid of an inconvenient tile before it can cause big trouble for you down the line.
