The title of this toy is 'motion activated’ which is highly misleading. I was expecting a toy that started spinning in response to movement, but this is not what it is. It does spin if you spin it yourself, but that is all. I would not have purchased this if I was aware it was not the 'motion activated’ that it leads you to believe.

Yes it’s a cool scratch toy kitten hasn’t play with it yet yes it can be miss leading and yes you have to push the mouse it doesn’t go by it self

Sure, we humans may think this is pretty simple, but it hits every little scurrying, fiendishly clever varmint trigger a cat has, short of making squeaking noises. This toy is a hit with every cat, right out of the box.
