Author Biography:

Peter Sheaf Hersey Newell (born March 5, 1862, died January 15, 1924). He was an American artist and author and a famous illustrator of children's books at the turn of the century and did appreciated illustrations of Lewis Carroll's Nonsense books (Alice and Snark).
