Author Biography:

Michelle O'Mahony is a graduate of University College Cork and worked as a teacher of History and English for a number of years before moving into the legal sphere. Her undergraduate and postgraduate research involved in¬depth analysis of Cork Union Workhouse's famine history. She lives in Cork.
