Mickey Rees was born in 1997 and was raised in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, where she spent most of her days writing fictional stories. She had started out small by writing screenplays in her elementary school before exploring her depth and passion as a writer. She was inspired by a user-friendly application--Wattpad, when she was introduced to the application back in 2012. In the start of middle school, Mickey began to get more involved in her community theater. Following onto her early adolescence, she had the opportunity to work with creative individuals with imaginations of their own in the theater class she took part in. There she gained the experience of a lifetime when she put forth her screenplay to the test that helped her grow as a 'young prodigy in the making'. After four years of well-developed hard work, dedication, and strong support from her friends and family, she finally shared some of her very own beautiful stories and brought them to visual life, with Fallen Faith being her first publication.
